Tenant FAQs

Can you hold a place before I apply?

No, a viewing of the property will be needed and to submit an application to rent.

Do I pay first month’s rent and last month’s rent with my security?

If you are approved to rent, we will need first month’s rent and security deposit. Pet Fee will apply if property is applicable for pets.

How old do I have to be to apply?

You must be 18 years old to apply.

Is the deposit refundable?

All security deposits can be refundable upon certain terms that are met at the time of move out.

Who needs cosigners?

If your income or credit doesn’t meet our requirements.

You have a property that I want to rent, how do I apply?

You can contact our leasing staff and receive an application be email or at the viewing of the property or you may go to Tenant Resources and hit apply to receive a downloaded application.

How do I pay rent?

Rent can be dropped off to our office, by mail or online.

I want to get a pet, what do I need to do?

If you wish to add a pet to your family, you will need to get permission from the owner before you get the pet. Once approval has been granted, a pet fee will need to be paid.

My lease expiration is coming and I want to move out, what do I do?

You will need to give written notice that you would like to move. This will need to be done 30 days prior to the expiration of your lease.

Who is responsible for paying for repairs and maintenance requests?

All repairs and maintenance request will need to be submitted to the property manager. The vendor will see if the request made is regular maintenance/repair or if it was damaged caused by tenant.

Repair or damage caused by your negligence or misuse is your responsibility. In such cases, repairs will be made, but you will be charged for the cost of the labor and materials. Damages or plumbing stoppages caused by your negligence or misuse will be paid by tenant.

Release of Key

I understand that if I do not authorize a release of a key to a vendor, I will need to be available to give the vendor access to the property.
